Chris the technician did a great job was courtesy and polite. The office on the other hand did not return phone calls. I called on 7/27 and was told I would get a phone the next day that didn’t happen. When I called back I was told 24 to 36 hours I should get a call back that didn’t happen. So I called a third time on 8/4 and finally someone answered my warranty question and scheduled the technician for 8/5. The garage door opener could not be repaired a new one had to be installed which was covered under warranty, so this is the reason for the 3 star rating.

I had an excellent experience with Precision Overhead Garage Door Service of Cincinnati, and I especially want to recognize my technician, Harley Carter. From start to finish, Harley was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. He stayed in constant communication throughout the entire process, explained everything clearly, and took the time to walk me through all of the features after the installation was complete. He didn’t just rush through the job, he made sure I understood exactly what was being replaced and why. My original system was from 2002 and had multiple issues, including worn rollers, aging components, and failing parts. Harley explained everything in a way that made it easy to make an informed decision, and I never felt pressured. The work itself was outstanding. Both garage door systems were completely rebuilt with new LiftMaster smart openers, springs, rollers, and hardware, all backed by a lifetime warranty. The doors are now incredibly smooth, quiet, and feel much safer and more reliable than before. What stood out the most was Harley’s attention to detail and the pride he takes in his work. He made sure everything was set up properly, programmed the remotes and keypads, and even walked me through the smart app features before leaving. Overall, this was a very positive experience, and I’m extremely grateful for the level of service provided. I would absolutely recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service of Cincinnati to anyone, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Kevin came today and replaced our burned out garage door opener. He showed us three different options we could get. After choosing one, he immediately went out and did the work. He also replaced the springs. It only took him a little over an hour to complete. He was very professional and explained the features of the new opener and answered our questions. We are very happy with the service we received today.

Precision was quick to respond. The Tech Geoffrey was courteous and professional. Just be aware there is an up sale to this. It’s not over the top, they claim they will never tell you what what to do, and it’s just a suggestion but the plot is there. I get it it’s business and was low pressure. They send you the info on your tech before they arrive for safely. The his is a great feature. They have the business portion down. Why I can’t give 5 stars!?? I was quoted over $1500 for replacing one torsion spring. Something told me not be fooled by the up front glamour. So I call another business for a quote. One told me NOT to pay that much it was not that expensive but they couldn’t get me an appointment for a week. So I called one more a smaller company referred by a friend. They were there with in the hour on a Friday at 6pm! No one xtra fee. The Tech was professional and kind but was a smaller business so maybe not all the bells and whistles. I just needed my garage door fixed for a reasonable. I don’t need anll the bells. Austin had it replaced in 45 min for $550 a 5yr warranty still included!!!! The tech looked at the other garage door to state I didn’t need to worry right now. If something happened just to give them a call. So no up selling. I feel like precision tried to take me for a financial ride. Thank goodness I have learned to be a little paranoid as a single female. Always be sure to get more than one quote.

Precision Door impressed me when I called them with questions about my broken garage door. Setting up the appointment was easy. Explained to me about the charges and set up the appointment with ease. Christopher did a superb job resolving my issue. He was on time, called ahead, and even offered to bring me a snack from his gas station stop on the way to my house. I have never had anyone ask me that before. Extremely professional. Not sure how you got Christopher to join your team but if I were you, I would do whatever it takes to keep him and start as soon as you can to groom him for a leadership role in your company. “He’s got management written all over him.”

We called Precision when our garage door jammed and wouldn't open. David and David inspected the door and determined that the track was installed too low and the top of the garage door was rubbing against the track and getting stuck. They raised the track so the door no longer binds and also replaced the worn rollers and cables. I was impressed by how quickly they diagnosed the problem and were able to correct it. Both were very professional and explained the problem and options for keeping our door safe and efficient very clearly.
