What an excellent experience! From the initial phone call with Angel to the superior service with Jimmy, it could not have been better. It would be great if all companies service was this good. Our garage door was stuck with both cars inside. I called Precision at around 8pm Friday. Angel answered and promptly scheduled for a 10 to 12 service on Saturday. Jimmy called at 9:30 to report he was stopping for gas and then would be on his way. Knowing our cars were stuck, he asked if he could pick up coffee or anything (that is the first time I received an offer like that!) When he arrived, he explained everything thoroughly, gave us several options, and completed the repairs in less than an hour. Courteousness and professionalism of the highest level!!!

Jimmy Schmidt is who came to my house today. He called before coming saying he needed to stop for gas and asked me if I'd like him to bring my coffee, which I thought was very thoughtful but not necessary. He explained everything that needed to be done for the door to operate properly. He did the repairs and soon I was on my way to work. Thanks for being so courteous. The installer was very nice but I was quoted a price on the phone for spring replacement at $240-460 and after the technician inspected all parts and take apart the door opener, he gives a estimate for $900. Another company had quoted me $365 total but couldn’t come today. So I told him that I would wait for the other company, so I got stuck with $150 bill for an inspection/service charge that I didn’t want instead of telling the price up front.

Initial Service Call: Cable fell off one of the drums on the garage door. Jimmy showed up and was fantastic in his valuation and explanation for the repair. The springs had lost their tension and balance and needed to be replaced. Professional service all the way. Two days later, the garage door malfunctioned due to the balance and new springs. A callback was placed, and Seth came out the same day and was fantastic, thoroughly inspecting every little detail of the tracks, motor, drives, and balance. I am not exactly sure which adjustments were made, but I know the service was excellent and that nothing was neglected. If we are being honest about these reviews, I was initially concerned about the total price of the initial call, parts, and labor. Considering the average cost of two springs on the market today, their markup is extreme. I was unhappy when the door malfunctioned two days later and was in worse condition than before the first repair. Seth's performance addressed all those concerns with the time and effort he invested in inspecting the above. My 5* rating is 100% based on the professionalism of both Technicians, Jimmy and Seth. Mechanical moving parts are what they are; things break, but it's how those are addressed and followed up on that makes for a good service.

Jimmy from Precision was at our house within 2.5 hours of us calling the office. He was incredibly knowledgeable and had an easy to understand checklist so that I could see what parts were failing. They carry all the replacement parts on their truck so he was able to get started right away, and he had a new motor, a new belt, new rollers and keypads and remotes programmed within 90 minutes. Super efficient. Super friendly. And very cost effective. Highly recommend Jimmy and Precision Doors.
