I had a problem with my garage door opening without coming loose from the chain. Over the weekend it stopped working at all. I called Precision Garage Door Service on Monday Morning. Around lunch time the technician (Kevin O'Hara) came out and diagnosed the issue. He explained what needed to be done, and gave me some options. He worked really hard, and had it running smoothly in about an hour. I would recommend Kevin to any of my friends.

My garage door’s cable and spring broke trapping my car in the garage. I called one of my brothers to help me and he highly recommended Precision Overhead Garage Door Service. He had dealt with them before and was very pleased with their work. I am so glad he recommended Precision. Chris Woods came out and did a fantastic job first of all explaining what the problem was and what my options were! Safety was a main concern for Chris which I appreciated a lot. Plus he was very professional and patient with me as I had no experience with this. He fixed my garage door and it works so well now! One of the springs for our garage door broke over the weekend. We had worked with another company in the past to install our system and replace springs but they were not open on the weekend so I called Precision. They came out on a Sunday to look at our broken spring and promptly found several thousand dollars worth of problems with our unit. Throughout the entire interaction with the service tech, I felt as if I was being sold things that I did not need. He proceeded to drop the prices several times in order to try to get my business even applying a discount to the price that didn't even apply to me. I told him that we would pass on all of these options. On Monday morning, I called the company that normally works on our garage door. They came out the next day and inspected our unit. They were quick to tell me that there is no need to replace our motor until it dies completely and that if we did need to replace it they could do so for a FRACTION of the price that Precision was quoting me. He replaced the springs and several other parts that showed wear. He greased and lubed everything. Our door has not worked as well at is does not for years. And, our regular company did everything for under $500! I felt like their technician was being honest and upfront with me. He never tried to sell me anything. I will certainly continue working with them in the future. I will not be calling Precision again and I strongly recommend against anyone else doing so either.

I can't say enough about how pleased I am with Precision Overhead Garage Door Service and their technician David Eilers. The service began prior to his arrival. A phone conversion addressed the possible issues which might not require a service call. David arrived on time with a smile on his face, introducing himself and letting us know he was here to solve our garage door issues. After a thorough investigation he explained our options and installed our new system, connecting it to our remotes, phones, and cars. A thorough training session followed. Job well done!

I have used Precision Garage Door three times over the past 8 years. Each time I have run into an issue and reached out they are extremely quick to respond with the ability to set up an appointment to do an inspection and provide recommendations to resolve my problem. The most recent experiences were with Kevin and Geoff. I called Precision as my garage door was running rough and I wanted to get ahead of any issues. I had purchased a new opener from Precision 5.5 years ago and new springs/rollers 8 years ago respectively. I could have had an appointment same day of my call but I opted for next day based on my availability. Kevin was my assigned tech and he called in advance of the appointment with when he expected to arrive. It ended up working out that he was able to be early which worked for me as well. Kevin quickly diagnosed the issues my door was having and presented my options. Unfortunately my garage door opener was running hot as the spring and pulleys were starting to fail/fray and the tracks were a touch out of alignment. There was not a significant price difference between the bare minimum required to safely address my issues and a complete rebuild. I opted for the complete rebuild (everything but new door and tracks) as it now comes with a lifetime warranty - which I am optimistic will be honored as my wife and I never plan to drive into the door (only reason mentioned that it would not be). Kevin then worked diligently to do the work on the rebuild and it was done within 2-2.5 hours. The next day I did notice that the garage door was a bit louder than upon initial install. I called back in that Monday after the weekend and Geoff was sent out to evaluate. He made a slight adjustment to one of my tracks and made sure all screws were in securely. He also lubricated my hinges. This appeared to completely address the noise issue and I have not had one since. It feels like Precision may be more on the expensive side - but there is definitely value to professionalism, responsiveness, integrity, and the lifetime warranty. As long as the lifetime warranty commitment stands true, I am grateful to have peace of mind that will never had a garage door related expense again (other than if I ever have to replace the actual door).

I wish I could give the company a different rating than the installers! Both men who came out to the house were absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, etc. The company on the other hand- We were given a 2 week turn around estimate date and told we would be kept up to date when the door was ordered/arrived. I had to call 3-4 different times for updates and the date continuously got pushed out. On install day, they called 25 min before they were supposed to arrive to tell us our door was damaged and we had to wait 5 more days for another requiring changing our work schedules around to accommodate the install. If they kept us in the loop without us having to chase the information, the entire process would have been a lot less frustrating… we received the door over a month later. On a positive note- great installers and the door itself is beautiful now that it’s finally here!

Precision had repaired my garage door when we moved to Cincinnati in 2018. On of the rollers jumped out of the track and the door was stuck. It was late in the day but Precision sent a man out and within 30 minutes the door was fixed.
