Lightning took out one of our openers. Precision Garage Door took my call on a Sunday morning, had a truck at our house by 11AM. Kevin (installer) was professional, courteous and answered all of our questions. Since our house is 18 years old and everything was pretty much near the end of useful life (openers, springs, cables, rollers) we ended up replacing the works. Not cheap, but now we have peace of mind that we can expect reliable operation and service for years to come. Also the new openers have camera's built in, and a new security protocol to reduce risk of hackers opening the doors. The whole job was done by 3PM.

Technician was very friendly and thorough. He went over every option and wasn’t too pushy when explaining it to me after my decision. They were very good about communicating and was on time and very quick with the repair. The only reason I didn’t give a five star was because I thought the price was a little high but it was worth it with the service they provided. I would definitely use them again

I first starting to do business with Precision as a company I selected at random. The gentleman that came to fix our door was David Eilers. He totally repaired our door and he suggested we take out a service that will last for a life time. We paid the extra for that service. Now our door weighs 300 pounds because I built the door myself and its made with tongue and groove cedar wood. Today the serviceman came because the door made a very loud noise when it closed. I looked over every part of that door and all of the hardware but I could not detect the cause of our problem. I called Precision, the Service man came out one earlier than originally planed but he called to make sure it was OK with us. It took him 5 minutes to detect the problem and another 5 minutes to fix it. I spent at least 2 hours looking for that problem and I did not come close to finding it. Precision did a wonderful job!!

He had all the parts on hand, knocked out the spring and roller replacement efficiently, and the door runs smoother and quieter than it has in years. Called about a broken spring. Found out that the opener was the original for or house installed in 2002. Was still operating with some issues. Geoffrey our technician explained normal lifetime for an opener anywhere from 10 to 12 years. Since we far exceeded that we decided to replace it.

I had a service technician out to evaluate and quote the job. The technician was nice enough, the cost was completely unreasonable. I paid around $145 for the technician to give me three quotes that were extremely high. After I paid the charge for the quote I contacted another local company (that gave me an estimate free of charge). To replace the springs I was quoted $1100, the second company replaced them 1.5 hours later for $535. I was quoted as high as $3600 for a repair to my springs and opener, I will not be doing business with Precision, nor would I recommend anyone else.

I used to use A&E to service our garage door since I’ve had a relationship with them for years and I’ve heard good things about Precision so I gave them a call when one of our springs broke and we’re so glad I did because they went over everything on our door and found several critical things wrong… our service tech David was great to work with plus they also came out the same day I called which was fantastic!!
