Its Thanksgiving week, we have 20+ people coming over and I was having issues with my garage door. Not a time when you don't want your garage door working. I called at 8:30PM the Monday before Thanksgiving. Not only did they answer the phone, they scheduled an appointment for the very next morning! Kevin came out and was JUST AWESOME. He asked questions, patiently listened to me explain the issues, diagnosed the problems in 10 minutes, presented 3 different great solutions, and helped me pick the right fixes to complete. On a Good/Better/Best scale, I went with the Best option, fully replacing all moving parts, springs, bearings, opener, etc. Once I selected the solution and signed, Kevin had the work done within 2 hours. The door opens and closes perfectly and is SO quiet. Kevin was kind, respectful and great to work with. Thanks Kevin!

I had a trapped car to do a broken spring. My usual door company couldn't come out for 3 days! I called Precision and they came right out. Very friendly service on the phone. The technician came out and fixed the springs with no problem. Also showed how my previous company had been replacing my springs with cheap ones that wore out every 2000 openings and gave me the option to pick any of 3 different grades of springs. No pressure, just gave me the facts and answered any questions. very knowledgeable. Great job!

Knowledgeable, efficient, fair price. The repairman was a bit "salesy", but was able to explain the mechanical problems to my satisfaction, and we ended up replacing both doors' springs and rollers. The doors themselves are twenty years old, but in surprisingly good shape, and he did not recommend replacing them, or either of the existing openers. The doors now work vastly better. This repair does not fit in the choices below.

I contacted this company to repair one of my openers. The technician was not able to reset my limit switch, but offered to sell me a new opener. That cost me $150.00 for that visit that resolved nothing. Afterwards I contacted PDQ to make necessary repairs. The PDQ technician showed up and approximately 15 minutes later the opener was functioning properly and he lubricated the rollers, hinges and spring, which this company did not do during the inspection of a door that was only 9 years old. He then showed me how to reset the limit switch for future reference if any 3 of the door openers malfunctioned. The opener did not need replaced but simply the electronic limit needed to be reset, which is a simple procedure handled through the back panel of the opener. Lesson learned? If the company didn't sell the opener don't expect them to service it, but want to replace it with their opener brand costing the customer exceedingly more than necessary.
