Garage Door Repair Reviews in Dry Run, OH (Updated May 2026)

My garage door wouldn't open so I called Precision Garage Door Service at 8:15am this morning and they said they would have a service person to our house by noon. Kevin arrived at 11am and said he would have to install a new door opener and he was finished by 1pm! Many thanks to everyone at Precision and especially Kevin! We always have, and always will continue to use them!

Chris Daughtery, the technician who came was nice to deal with, trustworthy, and able to tell me what was wrong with my garage door as well as the garage door opener in details and in writing. He proposed several options to fix all the problems that I have and to do it on the spot. I recommend him to everybody with either garage problems or garage door opener.

We had our garage door break a cable and come off the tracks so we were unable to get our car out of the garage. Geoff was able to come out early on a Sunday morning and get everything repaired and functioning properly again within a couple hours. Geoff was very friendly and extremely professional. He thoroughly explained what our issues were and offered repair solutions that were good/better/best to choose from. Great experience!

Great company, Christopher was on time and explained what he was going to do. He went over the whole door and opener and told me about the different steps to fix my door . He didn't pressure me in any way, he let me make all the decisions! After that he went right to work, and in no time my door was fixed. Will definitely use them again.

Anthony was AWESOME! He showed up when he said. He clearly explained my options. This included just replacing my broken springs to upgrading some worn components to installing a new opener and door if needed or wanted. My opener was installed in 1991, and on borrowed time I'm sure. I opted for new springs, bearings, cables, rollers, and a new side mounted motor (which hooks directly to the spring/shaft assembly and totally eliminates the track and motor assembly from the ceiling). This provides for a much cleaner look, and a more direct transfer of power to raise and lower your door. It is also VERY quiet!

John and Jimmy provided outstanding service work with superb knowledge and expertise. Having a "run-a-way" trolley to the wall with a broken plastic piece, the old age garage door opener needed replacing. Given the various options, we selected one and the men installed the system. It did not take them long at all and then we were in the testing phase. The door switch near the back door, and the outside door numeric keypad all checked good. Then John proceeded to program the door opener in 3 different cars. That was a huge help and kept me from going to the internet for help. All in all we are very pleased with the work and installation done by Precision. I would have them come out anytime in the future for any garage door service and installation needed.
