We had old garage door openers, including one that was over 30 years old. I had been repairing them every few months when something would go wrong, but one of them finally had a critical breakage (gear shaft snapped). Not long after contacting Precision, Kevin was in my garage, explaining my options. I already knew what I wanted, and he had some additional tips and tricks to quiet our noisy garage doors. It was all installed and running smoothly by dinner time, and this was on a Sunday. Now I can't even hear the garage doors open or close unless I'm standing next to them. Kevin didn't hard sell me on anything, just gave me options and let me pick. It looks like he reshaped some bent metal on my roller tracks too, so we don't need to replace them.

Harley Carter was our technician. He very clearly explained the 3 choices of coverage for the door and then told us what he needed to do. He then began working on the door and was soon finished; he began telling us what was broken and needed .to be replaced. We were given explanations of how everything worked and answered any questions that we had. kyle showed up on time, worked quickly. He was very polite, professional. I had Precision Overhead door in June of 2025 install a new Torque system instead of the spring system that was the current system on the door. They did a wonderful job. I recently had a problem with the door not closing all the way at times. I called and they sent Kevin out the very next day. He checked it out and adjusted some wiring and it works like new. Kevin was very nice and extremely efficient. I give Precision Overhead door and Kevin five gold stars.

Chris Woods was the technician who came out to fix my blunder. While replacing a spring, something I’ve done more than once, I ended up with an unbalanced door and it came off the track leaving it hanging dangerously. In less than 24 hours Chris was able to come out and fix everything perfectly. Not only did he get the door back on track but he made all the needed repairs in a fraction of the time that it would have taken me. Chris was very polite and offered to pick me up a beverage while enroute to my house. He also provided some useful safety information about my door. Thank you Chris! You are a very competent professional and a great representative for Precision!
