I made the appointment online and your person was so nice. He called me to let me know when he was coming. Our issue was a broken coil as it has happened in the past. Also, when we tried to connect it, the garage would only go up about 4 feet. The technician advised that while the coil is indeed broken, they look at the motor, coil, and rollers to make sure everything is running correctly. I advised i called their competitor (AE Door) and the quoted approximately $450 to fix. That said, I realize they didn't look at it. When the technician completed his review, he gave me three options. First just fixing the coil (1,100); second, coil and rollers (1,600); and new motor (3,100), I asked why so expensive and was told the rollers had maybe one year so we went with the second option. It was very clear that the technician kept telling us all the bad things that will happen if we don't go with option 3. I asked if we went with option 2, would it be ok and he assured that we would be good as the current motor was fine. After about 45 minutes, he finished and said he wanted me to go out as i would push the button and he would look at it. I pushed the button and it seemed to be working then it stopped at the four foot mark. I was not happy as the technician looked at me and said "well you bought a manual garage." I said that isnt what i called you for. Then he did apologize and said he must have missed something on the motor and pointed his flashlight and said he saw something that looked worn on the motor. We were in the exact same position that we were before we started but with new coils and a rollers for as he said it "a manual garage door opener." I did advise had i known this i would not have had him do anything as i had told him that i had a family member that could install an all new garage. At this point, we were $1,600 in so had no choice but to get a whole new system. He apologized again and said would see if he can give me a coupon. My cost went from $3,100 to $3,050.

Found them on Google recommended. Dave went through the checklist of what was wrong gave four options to choose one. Was no pressure to select any of them. Chose the one that was best for me. Did the work in a timely fashion and actually got more than what I thought I was going to get. Would not have a problem recommending them.

The operation of our 16x7 garage door had recently been very erratic, so my wife looked at online reviews and we decided to go with Precision Garage Door Service. The service van showed up on time, and the technician, David Eilers introduced himself and proceeded to ask questions and checked the various components which quickly narrowed down the problems. David had the necessary parts in his van and so he commenced to getting the job done. A short time later, he had completed the necessary fixes, explained what he had done, and demonstrated the operation of the garage door, which now worked perfectly (and quietly!). David was very honest, thorough and efficient, and we would highly recommend Precision Garage Door Service!

David was the Service Tech that came to my house. He called about 30 minutes ahead of time, so I knew when to expect him. I also received a text with his name and picture, so I knew who to look for. He was very professional and thorough. Told me what he was going to do regarding inspection. After inspection, he talked with me and let me know what he found. He showed me what was broken and told me what needed to be done. He gave me three options of what he could do to resolve our issues with the door. No pressure from him as to which option I should choose. When I told him which option, he stayed and made the repairs right then. I ended up needing a new garage door opener, sensors, Key pad, and springs. Would highly recommend.

Brian was very professional and came at 10:15 and worked steady untill 5:40. We talked off and on as he worked and explained thoroughly after he had completed his work. A helper stopped by in the afternoon and then David came and helped tie things up at the end. Brian worked efficiently and as he took off each piece he put it in the van to keep it out of his way. He is a very orderly worker. I’m very pleased that I call your company to get my 2 new garage doors, they work perfect and look good. I was kept in the loop as to when the parts were coming and when I could expect the work to be done. Great company and fantastic workers, police and efficient.

SO HAPPY with the service!!!… We bought our home last Fall and we have original garage doors (2004). The VERY loud, rattling, noise when opening/closing the doors were making me crazy. David Allen (installer) called to let me know he was on his way (even offering to pick something up if I needed it, while he was getting gas in his truck – how thoughtful is that?! ????). He also sent a text message so I was able to track his travel time to our home. He arrived right on time this morning. David explained our options. We decided to have him rebuild both garage door systems; new motors, new moving parts, etc. We also had him install a new keypad on the outside of the garage door for keyless entry. David helped me set up the myQ wireless system which is an awesome app allowing you to open and close the doors by using your iphone! One thing that was very unusual (in a great way) about David was how he boasted proudly about the company; “we work very hard to give great customer satisfaction, we have the best products, we have great training, and we always want to do the best job for our customers.” He pointed to his uniform and said, “all of this costs money; our uniforms, these nice trucks, and we take care of everything and take pride in doing so.” ???? The owner should feel very proud to have an employee speaking so highly of the company and about all the reasons why the customer would want to use this company. David did a stellar job and we’re absolutely thrilled with our very QUIET door systems!!! We highly recommend this company!

I live in a condo and have 2 garages with 15 year old garage door lifts that were on the way out. I called at 9 a.m. and David Allen was here by 1. He kept in touch with me and let me know exactly when he would be here. I had decided before he got here that instead of trying to fix them, I would just have both replaced. He explained everything to me and the price for all. I’m sure it was way more work than he was expecting to do and it took him all afternoon. He did a great job and I’m glad I decided to go new.
