We had Justin come out and service our garage door. He called about 45 minutes before he got there to let me know he was ahead of schedule and asked if it was okay to come early. When he got here he made sure to get as much info as he could to find out what happened. When he did his review of our system he made sure to explain everything that was going on. We had a broken spring and other components were in bad condition. He gave us options on how they could get our door back up and running. We decided to do a full rebuild and replaced all of our components. Justin made sure to fully explain everything he was doing. He was quick and effecient with his work. I would reccomend precision to anyone needing garage door repair or replacement especially our technician Justin!

Absolutely terrible place. Take pride in their reviews I was told. I should have read the 1 stars first because it is the exact same experience as most other people. My technician was rude and annoying and super awkward. Started out alright. He looks at my torque master spring system then just tells me they don’t make replacement parts. Not only that he doesn’t carry the parts or doesn’t service that type but lies to tell me they don’t make replacement parts for that system. He then goes to do his full safety check and good lord if they don’t shove that down your throat. In this time I look up my spring system and found an entire replacement kit for 165 dollars… the whole system. Fixing the whole spring setup. Come back out to him saying my opener is awful and “burning” and that I need a new opener and springs system… 1500 dollars for just the spring or 3500 for the spring and opener…. Insanity. I then say I would like to print it out and get some other opinions and this weird tech Justin got so mad and offended. He literally acted shocked I would want to compare then throws a 150 dollar “service charge” at me after he realized I don’t want to do it.

Justin N was Awesome! Very knowledgeable and thorough. He started out by asking about the use of my garage doors that I have never thought about! He listened intently about the issues I was having and did a great job explaining the issues I had going on. He gave me several options for the repairs and did not push me toward the most expensive options. He had all materials on his truck to do all the repairs, and walked me through all his work. I can’t believe how quiet my doors are now! Scheduling online was easy and office personnel followed up quickly with a call. Great experience!

Christopher was very professional and friendly. He did a gray job of explaining to me his process and explaining the options available. The job took longer than expected due to the age of my house. First our response was excellent, They were my 3rd call and the others were very lax in their response and getting to me as needed. Precision came in a few hours. They even gave me follow up calls to keep me posted. Their technician was very polite and thorough with what was needed. Once we got the information we gave them the business. Once the work was finished he went back through giving me plenty of confidence the door was fixed properly. Our tech was very sharp and professional in every way. We have had homes for 50 plus years. This was the best encounter with all of the local companies. Our 5 star rating goes out to Precision. Their tech certainly earned our satisfaction and praise. Joe- As always your garage door products, service and life time warranty is the absolute best in the industry, hands down and bar none!!! Johnathan Guffey the installer for our new opener arrived within the scheduled time, he was professional, took time to explain the issue we had with our old 11 yr old opener and installed, programmed not just the opener but also the new key pad, remote opener’s for cars both new and reprogrammed the old ones, in addition to the manufacturer vehicle push button remote opener’s in our vehicles. He answered questions and wasted no time getting the job done. He also adjusted the springs on the garage door. Johnathan was very thorough, cleaned up all trash, and made sure we were happy with the install. Hands down the only garage door company my wife and I will recommend! Be proud of the employees you have working for you sir, they are top notch and represent your company very well!

My experience with Precision Door Service has been a very positive one. David Erickson was the technician who installed a new motor and garage door remote openers. David was very pleasant to work with. He explained everything that was needed to be done before he even started to make corrections and did not leave until he was sure I understood what he had done. I have used Precision before and was very pleased. This time I was very disappointed. My garage door is stuck in the closed position. I can't get it open. My lawn mower is in there and I need to get it out because my grass is out of control. The technician looked at it for 10 minutes and decided he would spend his time writing up a quote for a new door instead of opening the door. The "quote" was full of errors. He did not know the name brand of the door. It is clearly stamped on the handle "Clopay". He just listed it as an 8' X 7' door. It is in fact a custom size door 80" X 72"! He also sent me a text saying he finished some other jobs and could he come early? I called the company and asked them to send him a message to call me. He did and said " He was told that if we had an opening I wanted him to come early" ! Liar! I will not use Precision again and anyone I know will not!

Precision installed my garage door opener about 2-1/2 years ago. A couple weeks ago it was sometimes not closing All the way - it would go partially down and then open up again. The technician today was Robert Bongiorno. He was absolutely wonderful. Very professional and knowledgeable. He told me about the App for my phone and I asked him if he would install it for me. He kindly took care of that and walked me through how to use it. I asked him if he would put new batteries in my two remotes which he also did for me. This was a wonderful experience and speaks very highly for the integrity of your company.
