He also found and replaced some incorrect wiring that was connected to my old garage door opener making it safer. Left the work area clean and neat. We came home from vacation to find a broken garage door spring. I called ( on Memorial Day) to get an appointment. Amazingly I got scheduled for the next day ( today) in the morning. David arrived on time and was most courteous. He offered several options for the repair. Our equipment was pretty worn out and David repaired and replaced what was needed and was done quickly. I would certainly recommend Precision and David. It’s not often these days to find this level of service.

My garage door spring broke (with the door down), in the morning and was repaired same day. This was important since my only vehicle was trapped inside the garage. It was not possible to lift the door manually. The service repairman, Johnathan Guffey, even arrived earlier than scheduled. He worked in the pouring rain to insure same day service. He was very friendly as well as knowledgable. I have no qualms about recommending him to anyone needing same day response.

Called Precision Door to repair broken spring. We were able to get an appointment very soon. Employee called before he came out to work on door. Our technician was Jonathan Guffey. He checked out everything on our door. Replaced new wheels and replaced the springs. We also decided to have a new opener installed. The technician explained the work completed. I noticed your add stated "Call 24 hours a day". So when my door spring broke at around 9:00 pm on Tuesday (Jan 10), I called. It was around 10:00 pm by then. Well, a real person, who was friendly and professional answered the phone, and was able to schedule my repair on the following Monday. Immediately after getting off the phone, I received a confirmation text and an e-mail with the details. On the day of my appointment, I received a call from my Service Tech David Lenhardt saying he was finishing up the call ahead of mine and that he would call again when he was on his way. Soon after, David called (as promised) and said he stopping for gas and some coffee, and was on his way. Get this, he even asked me if he could bring me some coffee or a soft drink! I thanked him but declined the offer, as I had just made coffee myself. Just before arriving, both my wife and I received a text message with David's photo and a brief Biography of him, along with a phone number to call if I had any questions. He arrived as promised, and in no time had the problem assessed, and offered me 3 different solutions. After choosing the plan of action, he had the door fixed in very short order and working good as new. I am very satisfied with the work and with David and everyone else involved. Service Technician David did an outstanding job. Our garage door springs and mechanism was 17 years old and never serviced since that date. It finally failed. He replaced the springs, bearing, and rollers. Tested it and it works like new. I recommend David Eilers to all future customers. Courteous, explains everything and works diligently. He called me several times before the repair to update arrival time. Precision Garage Door is extremely responsive. I called and they provided service the same day. Amazing response time. Precision was quick to come out (within 2 hours) and was quick to do the repair (within 45 minutes of starting). All very good. My biggest issue is with pricing. $500 to install parts that retail for less than $150. I was told that they don't charge for labor, but that is not really true, as it is obviously built into their pricing. My other issue is that even though the only part broken was the spring, I was told that the minimum job was to replace the Spring, the bearing and the cables (tacking on about $200 for parts that retail for maybe $25). I later contacted other companies for the other garage door and got bids of $286 and $337 for the same job and could save even more by not being required to replace the bearing and cables. I was supposed to receive, by email, within 24 hours, according to the technician, warranty information. I'm still waiting. Why not provide a paper copy when the work was performed? Also the manager from Precision had emailed and was supposed to be calling me. It is now a week gone by and no phone call. Maybe before going with Precision, contact some other companies first to get a fair price. That's my suggestion.
