I was ripped off and given bad information from the technician! I called several other garage door repair centers, after having Precision do the work. I could have saved myself $500. I was told by the technician that it is per building code that my garage door have two springs. This is not the case. He lied to me. The technician took it upon himself to remove the circuit board from my garage door for no apparent reason. Before he removed the board I told him the only problem I ever had with the door was the current broken spring. He also concocted other issues from non-issues. It was clearly a case of trying to up sell me so he could make more money on his commission. Other companies I contacted provide estimates either free or over the phone. Precision never told me that I would be responsible for a $150 service charge if I didn't do any service that day. I felt trapped, as the door only had one spring, that was broken, and I couldn't get either of my cars out of the garage to make an appointment. I will be reaching out to the BBB to file a complaint and Precision door only looking to overcharge consumers.

Justin was very professional handling all communications and installations in an excellent way. He took significant time explaining three approaches to our door problem and let us make the decision. After looking at each option we chose the most expensive but we never felt pressure. Concluding this afternoon 2 more men joined him, Chris and Chris. They were cheerful, communicative and also professional. The work was completed ahead of Justin’s projected time frame. Justin then took time to explain in detail the changes he had made to the doors and their quality. It’s rare for me to authorize work without a comparable quote but Justin earned my trust enough that I went ahead with the work. Jimmy and Kevin did a great job fixing my garage door. New hardware and door opener! Quiet and smooth and with “My Q”. My old opener was noisy and would not open when the temperature drops below 40f. Called when they were on their way. Keon arrived right on time started working on removing my old garage door.He was very polite and answered my questions.Had a new garage door and motor put in.When done Keon worked with me on how everything worked.But also pointed out one of my garage door panels was damaged. But he had already taken care of it . Had called the office and had them order other one.Very happy with my new door amazed how quite it is . Harley called before coming to confirm my appointment and he was so kind and asked if he could grab me a coffee/water on his way. He provided me with multiple options on repairing the issue as well as working through other options with me.
