Precision Door Service installed my garage door opener several years ago shortly after I moved in. I reached out again recently when my garage door was not responding consistently to the remote. The office was able to schedule an appointment the next day. The technician, Jonathan, was very professional, courteous, and personable. He checked the system and found the cause to the issue. The door also had worn cables, rollers, etc. from the original install years ago. These were replaced and the door now functions like new. He also helped me reconnect the system to the WiFi. I was also very pleased with the text updates for the appointment including who the technician would be along with his photo. I definitely would recommend your company and also appreciate your customer service.

From start to finish my experience with precision was phenomenal. When I first called, the associate I spoke with was very friendly and able to get me on their schedule for the next morning. I had another associate call later that day to confirm my window for the next morning. She also walked me through how the inspection would go. Then emphasized the importance of safety, and that they would send me a message to include the name and picture of the technician that would be coming to my house. The morning of the appointment, Anthony called me to let me know how far out he was and that I should have received a text with his name and picture, as safety is a top priority for precision. Anthony could not have been friendlier or more professional. He walked me through every step of the process and then explained each part of the report and what options there were. All while my 3 year old presented him with every stuffed animal in his collection. Anthony was extremely patient and professional throughout. He was able to take care of the work in the same appointment, and I feel very confident in the product and service. I highly recommend precision to anyone.

Justin N was Awesome! Very knowledgeable and thorough. He started out by asking about the use of my garage doors that I have never thought about! He listened intently about the issues I was having and did a great job explaining the issues I had going on. He gave me several options for the repairs and did not push me toward the most expensive options. He had all materials on his truck to do all the repairs, and walked me through all his work. I can’t believe how quiet my doors are now! Scheduling online was easy and office personnel followed up quickly with a call. Great experience!

David arrived at our home and conducted an inspection of the garage door. Our older genie opener apparently was the problem. David explained the options and pricing for a new Liftmaster opener and work that needed to be done. David was very friendly and professional and proceeded to do the work. I called Thursday afternoon with a broken cable. I was given an appointment for Friday morning. Our technician was Christopher Woods. Chris called us early Friday to confirm. Called us again within 30 minutes of arrival. Could not have asked for a better technician. He was so polite, clean, friendly but most importantly, Chris knew his job. Would definitely want him back if further work was needed!

However, the total cost ($2600) seems very high.Since your invoice doesn't itemize labor costs, I assume they are built into the materials charges. We had everything replaced last year in May 2023 when we purchased a new garage door opener. When I say everything, I mean tracks, rollers everything but the doors themselves. Our setup was over 32years old. We purchased the opener from Overhead & they did the installation in a timely manner and up to October 2024 we have not had any problems. Because of an error on our part backing into the garage we knocked something loose off the track with the sides view mirror of our car & the garage door would not go down all the way. The Precision Tech saw the problem right away & had it corrected in a matter of minutes. We were prepared to pay for a Service call, but the Service Tech. said "NO CHARGE". We were shocked and overjoyed. I will say last year when we had everything replaced but the door & we got a top notch opener with battery backup & camera it was costly. But we needed a product that was dependable. And we needed a Company that is dependable to be there when we need them and Precision Garage Door is the One in our opinion. Thank-you

We called Precision when our garage door jammed and wouldn't open. David and David inspected the door and determined that the track was installed too low and the top of the garage door was rubbing against the track and getting stuck. They raised the track so the door no longer binds and also replaced the worn rollers and cables. I was impressed by how quickly they diagnosed the problem and were able to correct it. Both were very professional and explained the problem and options for keeping our door safe and efficient very clearly.

Jonathan was great. He was on time, actually a little early and called me twice before he came to keep me posted about when he would arrive. I never felt pressured, as he gave me an estimate on everything that needed repaired. I called because of a broken spring, but our garage doors hadn’t really been touched for over 24 years. Jonathan gave me several estimates, from absolutely necessary right this minute, to it will need to be done at some point, and to do it all for 3 garbage doors! Jonathan gets an A+

I would recommend to shop around and get multiple quotes before choosing to move forward with Precision Door. We were quoted $1,500-$4,000 for a simple garage door repair. We received quotes from other reputable companies and selected the quote that provided a solution that met standard safety requirements to operate at the lowest cost. The competitor cost for the repair was $275. Over $1,000 less expensive than their lowest cost quote.

When my spring broke and caused my opener to break, Precision came out 1 business day later. They prefaced the appointment with a call to understand what was going on and to inform me what to expect. Chris called me the morning of to let me know when he would be over and let me know he’d call 30 minutes before he was going to arrive. Upon arrival Chris spoke to me and took the time to understand the problems, inform me of their process and then present me with several options for the repair. Upon choosing an option, Chris got to work and had my door in good working order shortly and explained what he did and the warranty on the work. Very professional, prompt, informative company. Would highly recommend! NOTE: If I had to note any negative it would be as others have said the price was much higher than anticipated however I was previously unfamiliar with garage repair so I really had no fair basis for what to expect.
