Mr. Guffey was our technician. We could not have dreamed of someone more professional, polite, and knowledgeable. My garage broke on a Saturday night and Monday morning Mr Guffey was fixing it. He even called to announce his ETA and offered to bring a coffee.

I was having issues with my garage door not wanting to close consistently. It hadn’t been serviced in several years so I wasn’t sure which company to use. The tech, Justin, was very professional and explained the areas of concern in great detail and in such a way that I felt confident in my decision to use Precision. Justin our technician was very thorough and understanding. He explained his thought process and what steps he recommended for repair. Easy to converse with and not over pushy or focused on upsales. Would recommend Justin. Any issues I encountered was playing phone tag with him as the number he called me from initially would go to the customer service office and they would have to text to get a return call. Also no discounts offered besides credit card fee process discount if paid by check. Overall satisfied with the experience but in today’s economy every $$$ matters.

I was having problems with my garage door not closing properly. I called on a Tuesday and they sent Justin out the very next day. He called to let me know when he would be arriving and even sent me a picture and a little bio of himself so i would know it was him when he arrived. He had to make a stop to get gas first and asked if he could get me anything. How thoughtful was that!!! He did his inspection and found the problem. He discussed the different options and asked if I had any questions. He got to work and now my garage door works perfectly. He explained everything he did and showed me how to work my new openers. He had everything he needed in his van so everything was completed in a couple of hours. I highly recommend Precision Door and Justin Napierala.

Absolutely terrible place. Take pride in their reviews I was told. I should have read the 1 stars first because it is the exact same experience as most other people. My technician was rude and annoying and super awkward. Started out alright. He looks at my torque master spring system then just tells me they don’t make replacement parts. Not only that he doesn’t carry the parts or doesn’t service that type but lies to tell me they don’t make replacement parts for that system. He then goes to do his full safety check and good lord if they don’t shove that down your throat. In this time I look up my spring system and found an entire replacement kit for 165 dollars… the whole system. Fixing the whole spring setup. Come back out to him saying my opener is awful and “burning” and that I need a new opener and springs system… 1500 dollars for just the spring or 3500 for the spring and opener…. Insanity. I then say I would like to print it out and get some other opinions and this weird tech Justin got so mad and offended. He literally acted shocked I would want to compare then throws a 150 dollar “service charge” at me after he realized I don’t want to do it.

He finished in the time frame promised, and the new opener and new parts are working together perfectly. Five stars.

David was amazing. I originally only needed a broken spring replaced (or so I thought). He did a full work up of the garage door/system to make sure everything else was working properly and actually found a lot of other problems since my system is 17 years old and original to the house. He pointed out each area of issue and showed me everything that would need to be replaced eventually and why. He found metal shavings coming off of the chain drive gear, burnt wires on the circuit board and capacitor and fraying cables. However, he never got pushy or tried to convince me to replace everything at that moment. Due to David taking his time to explain everything and showing me everything that was failing or would fail in the relative near future, we went ahead and had everything replaced anyway. We ended up replacing the springs, cables, rollers, door opener, and remotes. Thanks to David, everything is running smooth and safe.

Jimmy came to my house yesterday to replace all moving parts on my garage door. From before he even showed up, until after he had left, his customer service was absolutely phenomenal. To add to that, when he figured out what was wrong with my garage, he gave many options to repair, with many options, and was absolutely not pushy about not getting the more expensive fixes. Once he was finished, he left my garage cleaner than it was when he got there. I won't hesitate to call them again if my garage breaks again. Alll in all the service was top tier, the work was done quickly and thoroughly, and performed by a personable and knowledgeable technician
