Only issue was a broken safety sensor, the technician told me that wasn’t the problem and that I needed a whole new opener motor (mine is only 2 years old) and then quoted me $1800 for the cheapest option! Ordered a replacement sensor on Amazon after this for $18, switched it out and door works fine now; I would not recommend this company, tried to upsell for something I didn’t need and didn’t fix the actual problem. If he had done any work, such as replacing the sensor, I wouldn’t have had to pay the $149 service fee but since he did nothing, I was charged this.

David did an excellent job of installing a new garage door opener for me. He even fixed a couple of issues I had with the old door. He installed new weather stripping at the bottom, moved the manual lock to the other side where it was more accessible, and made sure the door closed all the way which it wasn't doing before. My only surprise (shock) was the cost. Much more expensive than I was expecting.

Technician Justin was on time, polite, informative, and efficient. Justin explained his diagnosis and process in plain English, so that anyone could understand. He was quick to find the problems with my doors, and speedy in his repairs. Before Justin arrived, I had one door that was barely working, and another door that didn't work at all. When Justin left, both doors worked perfectly. I would recommend Justin and Precision to anyone. My highest rating.

I made the appointment online and your person was so nice. He called me to let me know when he was coming. Our issue was a broken coil as it has happened in the past. Also, when we tried to connect it, the garage would only go up about 4 feet. The technician advised that while the coil is indeed broken, they look at the motor, coil, and rollers to make sure everything is running correctly. I advised i called their competitor (AE Door) and the quoted approximately $450 to fix. That said, I realize they didn't look at it. When the technician completed his review, he gave me three options. First just fixing the coil (1,100); second, coil and rollers (1,600); and new motor (3,100), I asked why so expensive and was told the rollers had maybe one year so we went with the second option. It was very clear that the technician kept telling us all the bad things that will happen if we don't go with option 3. I asked if we went with option 2, would it be ok and he assured that we would be good as the current motor was fine. After about 45 minutes, he finished and said he wanted me to go out as i would push the button and he would look at it. I pushed the button and it seemed to be working then it stopped at the four foot mark. I was not happy as the technician looked at me and said "well you bought a manual garage." I said that isnt what i called you for. Then he did apologize and said he must have missed something on the motor and pointed his flashlight and said he saw something that looked worn on the motor. We were in the exact same position that we were before we started but with new coils and a rollers for as he said it "a manual garage door opener." I did advise had i known this i would not have had him do anything as i had told him that i had a family member that could install an all new garage. At this point, we were $1,600 in so had no choice but to get a whole new system. He apologized again and said would see if he can give me a coupon. My cost went from $3,100 to $3,050.
