What an excellent experience! From the initial phone call with Angel to the superior service with Jimmy, it could not have been better. It would be great if all companies service was this good. Our garage door was stuck with both cars inside. I called Precision at around 8pm Friday. Angel answered and promptly scheduled for a 10 to 12 service on Saturday. Jimmy called at 9:30 to report he was stopping for gas and then would be on his way. Knowing our cars were stuck, he asked if he could pick up coffee or anything (that is the first time I received an offer like that!) When he arrived, he explained everything thoroughly, gave us several options, and completed the repairs in less than an hour. Courteousness and professionalism of the highest level!!!

I called Precision Garage Door Service because my opener didn't want to lift my door. The technician, Harley C., arrived promptly in the time span I asked for and diagnose the problem quickly. It turns out my old opener was aging and he said the unresponsiveness between the wall button and the opener would likely continue and get worse. I decided to have a new opener installed which Harley proceeded to do. He was very polite and responsive to my questions and concerns. It was a job well done in my view and I would highly recommend this company.

Its Thanksgiving week, we have 20+ people coming over and I was having issues with my garage door. Not a time when you don't want your garage door working. I called at 8:30PM the Monday before Thanksgiving. Not only did they answer the phone, they scheduled an appointment for the very next morning! Kevin came out and was JUST AWESOME. He asked questions, patiently listened to me explain the issues, diagnosed the problems in 10 minutes, presented 3 different great solutions, and helped me pick the right fixes to complete. On a Good/Better/Best scale, I went with the Best option, fully replacing all moving parts, springs, bearings, opener, etc. Once I selected the solution and signed, Kevin had the work done within 2 hours. The door opens and closes perfectly and is SO quiet. Kevin was kind, respectful and great to work with. Thanks Kevin!

I was very happy with the work that was done. Christopher was my tech and he was courteous, knowledgeable, and informative. He was on time and attended to the issue promptly. He was delightful to work with. My only reason for not giving a 5 star rating, was that when I made the reservation I was unable to receive any idea what the work might cost. I needed the large battery in the garage door opener replaced and it was not listed in their computer. It was not until the battery was being installed that I found out how much the work would cost. Luckily, it was very reasonable. But that information needed to be in the computer

My Sears Craftsman garage door opener hit 30 years of service last month and died today. I found these guys online via Google - searching for same day service. Chris arrived 90 minutes after I called. Very knowledgeable and professional. New Liftmaster opener, springs, rollers, etc. all installed in about 3 hours. Highly recommend.

He called before coming saying he needed to stop for gas and asked me if I'd like him to bring my coffee, which I thought was very thoughtful but not necessary. I have used Precision Garage Door three times over the past 8 years. Each time I have run into an issue and reached out they are extremely quick to respond with the ability to set up an appointment to do an inspection and provide recommendations to resolve my problem. The most recent experiences were with Kevin and Geoff. I called Precision as my garage door was running rough and I wanted to get ahead of any issues. I had purchased a new opener from Precision 5.5 years ago and new springs/rollers 8 years ago respectively. I could have had an appointment same day of my call but I opted for next day based on my availability. Kevin was my assigned tech and he called in advance of the appointment with when he expected to arrive. It ended up working out that he was able to be early which worked for me as well. Kevin quickly diagnosed the issues my door was having and presented my options. Unfortunately my garage door opener was running hot as the spring and pulleys were starting to fail/fray and the tracks were a touch out of alignment. There was not a significant price difference between the bare minimum required to safely address my issues and a complete rebuild. I opted for the complete rebuild (everything but new door and tracks) as it now comes with a lifetime warranty - which I am optimistic will be honored as my wife and I never plan to drive into the door (only reason mentioned that it would not be). Kevin then worked diligently to do the work on the rebuild and it was done within 2-2.5 hours. The next day I did notice that the garage door was a bit louder than upon initial install. I called back in that Monday after the weekend and Geoff was sent out to evaluate. He made a slight adjustment to one of my tracks and made sure all screws were in securely. He also lubricated my hinges. This appeared to completely address the noise issue and I have not had one since. It feels like Precision may be more on the expensive side - but there is definitely value to professionalism, responsiveness, integrity, and the lifetime warranty. As long as the lifetime warranty commitment stands true, I am grateful to have peace of mind that will never had a garage door related expense again (other than if I ever have to replace the actual door).
