We have used precision for a few years now and they wanted to charge us an outrageous amount to simply replace the rubber seal at the bottom of the garage door. I'm so sick and tired of companies who we have done work with try and take advantage of us. I'm a very loyal person and would think companies would make sure they are taking care of their current customers. On top of that the technician that came out was a little off. We will most likely not be using precision doors going forward unless they can do something about our horrible experience we had yesterday.

He replaced two 29 year old Craftsman garage door systems with two new Lift Master systems complete with new springs, rollers, indoor controllers, outside keypads and got the app setup on my phone. Only issue was a broken safety sensor, the technician told me that wasn’t the problem and that I needed a whole new opener motor (mine is only 2 years old) and then quoted me $1800 for the cheapest option! Ordered a replacement sensor on Amazon after this for $18, switched it out and door works fine now; I would not recommend this company, tried to upsell for something I didn’t need and didn’t fix the actual problem. If he had done any work, such as replacing the sensor, I wouldn’t have had to pay the $149 service fee but since he did nothing, I was charged this.

The technician, Jonathan, arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. He took his time inspecting my garage door as well as all its parts and components. He even took a look at the other door, which wasn’t being serviced. When he found the issue (broken spring), he presented me all the options and made some recommendations. Although not inexpensive, I trust that I was provided with a quality product replacement (new spring system) and service with a lifetime warranty. I would recommend Precision!

David did an excellent job of installing a new garage door opener for me. He even fixed a couple of issues I had with the old door. He installed new weather stripping at the bottom, moved the manual lock to the other side where it was more accessible, and made sure the door closed all the way which it wasn't doing before. My only surprise (shock) was the cost. Much more expensive than I was expecting.

The technician, Justin, from Precision Overhead Garage Door Service of Cincinnati repaired our giant pole barn garage door structure (springs, cable, rollers, etc) with better components.
