Our garage door spring broke unexpectedly leaving us with one car stuck in the garage. I looked at several garage door repairs companies online information and Precision listed quick response, a BBB score of A (confirmed online) and multiple customer review of high satisfaction. The reviews listed people from our local area and I even saw the name of someone I knew who gave a glowing review. Our service agent was Chris. He did an excellent job of explaining the condition of our door opener as well as the obvious broken spring. We were given options of services we could have done from necessary to other update options. He performed the repairs well and showed us how the new garage door opener we chose worked.

Michael Stahlman came out today and did a fantastic job. He was courteous, punctual and pleasant. He fixed my door in a timely manner as he said he would. My garage door is very quiet. I have never heard it so quiet before now. I’ve had other companies service my door before, but precision and Michael Stahlman were the best hands-down!! Justin was incredibly wonderful to work with. He called 30 minutes out and was on time, very informative and was able to do the work after his evaluation of our old system! Our 20+ year old opener gave up on a Sunday morning. Precision has a real person to answer the phone (not an automated voice system). She was knowledgeable about the business and how they could help us. A technician was scheduled for the next day. Justin gave a thorough inspection of the whole garage door system. Before starting the replacement, he went over his inspection results and made sure I understood the options. It was amazing to watch how efficiently he went about assembling / installing the new opener. In addition to his workmanship, he was personable and friendly. All in all this was a five star experience.

David was the Service Tech that came to my house. He called about 30 minutes ahead of time, so I knew when to expect him. I also received a text with his name and picture, so I knew who to look for. He was very professional and thorough. Told me what he was going to do regarding inspection. After inspection, he talked with me and let me know what he found. He showed me what was broken and told me what needed to be done. He gave me three options of what he could do to resolve our issues with the door. No pressure from him as to which option I should choose. When I told him which option, he stayed and made the repairs right then. I ended up needing a new garage door opener, sensors, Key pad, and springs. Would highly recommend.

TL;DR: Prompt, efficient, courteous, and good value! We had an old style garage door and opener that started to intermittently freeze while opening and closing was completely beyond my ability to DIY. I was able to call in on a Sunday evening to book a service appointment for the following day. The techs David and Michael were fully transparent and courteous about their arrival times and arrived within the scheduled window. On arrival, they were attentive to my descriptions of the opener issues and asked a few diagnostic questions, then did a full inspection of the door, hardware, and opener to determine what was actually needed for a fix. They talked me through their assessments and several options based on my budget, and clearly explained what I did and didn't need to get my door safety operational again. I didn't feel oversold at any point, and appreciated the comprehensive advice I received. Once we selected a fix (keep the old door, but replace hardware and opener), they had everything needed to do the repairs immediately, and were able to finish in just a few hours. They promised a door that would sound and work like brand new, and they 100% delivered on that. I've already recommended Precision to another friend and will happily call on their techs for anything I need in the future.
