Appreciated talking to a live and pleasant speaking associate, prior to business opening and to get service scheduled. Nice that the company has maintained a record of prior services; nice to have received a call from the service person (Justin) with estimate of arrival time, and to have him arriving in accord with estimate. He was courteous, presented professionally, explained what should be expected of the service, assessment and provided a problem diagnosis in laymen's term; provided a range of options and costs. Overall we were very satisfied with the service; however, shocked at the costs!!

Called 3 door companies, one had an AI interface and took a while to call me back. The other handled my call right away but needed me to determine if I needed a repair or a new door. How am I supposed to know that? He said, well if you need a new door that will be about 3 weeks. Way too long. Finally, I called Precision Overhead Garage Door and I interreacted with a human and they scheduled an appointment for 90 minutes later. Precision had repaired my garage door when we moved to Cincinnati in 2018. On of the rollers jumped out of the track and the door was stuck. It was late in the day but Precision sent a man out and within 30 minutes the door was fixed.

We had Precision Garage Door Service come out in February 2025 and install a new system in a house we had just purchased. On October 1, 2025 our garage door suddenly stopped opening and closing, so we called Precision Garage Door. The tech, Justin, promptly arrived about two hours after I made the call for help. He diagnosed the problem and got our garage door working again with no charge to us (still under warrant). He was also very helpful with some tips if this ever happened again. I would highly recommend Precision Garage Door and have always been pleased with the service and quick response. This is the second house where we have used them for a new garage door system.

My remote only opened (it does not do that after the technician was here). He recommended a solution over $1,000. I know I can install a new panel myself for 1/4 of the price. Then came the surprise (maybe my fault that I did not read the ad more carefully) the estimate cost me $145 when i thought it would be free. For 10 minute! Then the biggest ripoff, if I used my credit card there is a 30 (thirty) % extra charge. It sounds like a ripoff business. Never call them!!!! Nothing was done but below I had to select a Service performed

I had a service technician out to evaluate and quote the job. The technician was nice enough, the cost was completely unreasonable. I paid around $145 for the technician to give me three quotes that were extremely high. After I paid the charge for the quote I contacted another local company (that gave me an estimate free of charge). To replace the springs I was quoted $1100, the second company replaced them 1.5 hours later for $535. I was quoted as high as $3600 for a repair to my springs and opener, I will not be doing business with Precision, nor would I recommend anyone else.

Overall install was as expected. Warranty is the only benefit I see. I was robbed as I contacted two other shops this morning to make myself feel good with the decision. My garage door opener surprised me when it stopped working altogether. I was also surprised at the extremely prompt service I received after calling Precision! I am not a mechicanically inclined person; I am an older citizen who has a hard time knowing if I am being taken advantage of or not. I have not had to purchase a garage door opener for over 30 years. You can imagine the culture shock when I learned about the pricing change that has occurred in those 30 years. Thank goodness for Seth Boyers (my technician.) He could see how confused I was. Jonathan, our technician provided outstanding service in a professional, friendly manner. He called ahead to confirm the appointment. Upon arrival, his diagnosis was swift. He then performed an overall inspection of the garage door’s function, installed new light bulbs, and straightened a part that was slightly out of alignment, something I had not even noticed. Seth Boyers was the tech that worked on my garage door, and I couldn't have had a better one. He was very cordial and made me feel relaxed in knowing he knew what he was doing. He had to access the door through a small window with no grumbling. He renewed the entire mechanics of the door, and I could not be more satisfied. You have a good employee, hard to find these days, hang on to him.
