To my surprise they had same day availability later in the afternoon. To my delight technician Geoffrey Grouse called a short time later and said he was available earlier than expected. Called about a broken spring. Found out that the opener was the original for or house installed in 2002. Was still operating with some issues. Geoffrey our technician explained normal lifetime for an opener anywhere from 10 to 12 years. Since we far exceeded that we decided to replace it.
