Third time over 7 years I’ve had to use Precision. Every time they are quick to respond, great techs and fair prices. Just tonight Garrett broke the news our poor door has reached their end. They are putting a new one in two weeks. Sucks but not their faults.

Service was PROMPT and Professional. Technician, David Allen, was GREAT. He went over and above. I was very pleased with his work, knowledge and service. My only concern was the extreme difference between opener prices that could be purchased at a local big box store and the completed price through Precision - $1,200 difference. If I would have realized that, I probably would have installed a top-of-the-line new one myself. However, I do appreciate the professional installation and the warranty promise through David’s work.

BE AWARE! When you call to have one of their reps come to inspect your garage door they do in-fact state that there will be a “service fee” that will be waved if repairs are done day of visit, the mistake I made was that I didn’t ask how much that “service fee” would be. The 2 reps spent no more than 10 min assessing my garage door before giving me a much higher quote than I had expected so naturally I wanted to shop around and compare quotes, problem is they told me that the “service fee” was $175.00! for 10 min of their time. Do yourself a favor and call someone that will allow you to shop around quotes before dealing with Precision, I ended up finding someone to fix my door for $300.00 vs their $1,500.00.

I needed someone to recalibrate my opener that you installed. You sent a salesman. I knew 2 minutes into the conversation he was there to cost me a lot of money not to fix my opener. By the time he left (and I shut the door on him) I was livid, and still am 2 days later. I wish you would send him back out here so I can show him how it was fixed for a third of what he wanted to charge by someone who had never dealt with that brand of opener before. The 2 prior dealings with you were good. But this time was awful.

my service david performed a check of doorsi was concered of one making loud noise when opeing and closing he gave me options and i went with one that was safe and was in my budet turning 80 and wish i could fix every thing that had needed repair i will use your company in the futer at which time regust david to do my work even if i need to wait for my repairs new spring looks great

Everything went perfectly. My technician, Jonathan Guffey, explained everything that would be helpful to do to keep my door running smoothly, and he arrived during the window provided. He replaced most moving parts. My reason for calling was that the door was running kind of roughly, and I could see that some of the rollers looked worn. It appears to be running very smoothly. We have used Precision Overhead for at least 13 years, and I really didn't consider calling anyone else. Jonathan was totally courteous and professional.

Jonathan was on time and worked continually. Pre-work phone calls and texts. He inspected the doors and presented us with 3 corrective options. No sales pressure, just options and facts. He answered all of our questions and gave us full explanations. He had all the necessary tools and parts to complete the job with him. Following the installation, we were given an overview and a demonstration of all the work he had done. The entire job was done in under 3 hours and the area left cleaner than it was before. We are so glad our neighbor recommended Precision to us.
