We had our non-electric detached 2-car garage built in 2005. Over the years the very heavy door has been getting harder to open. I'm a tiny person and opening the door was wearing me down to the point that I kept my car outside rather than try to open it. I thought the answer was a solar-powered garage door opener... but boy, was I wrong! David came to my rescue. He called before he came out, and when he was nearby. He looked everything over thoroughly for about half an hour, running through all kinds of checks and balances. All it needed was some new springs and rollers! After I chose one of the two estimates he gave me, he actually started and completed the work right then and there! Very nice and professional, and even gave me a discount. Lifetime guarantee on the parts. He oiled the squeaks out of the lock and rigged up a strap that I can use to close the garage door when it opens so high it gets away from me. Now the door opens effortlessly! I can now open it with one hand! Unbelievable!

I called several places but Precision Door has a local owner. They offered no service charge if the repair work was completed. David checked our door and explained that it wasn’t safe to try a fix on it that would cost us about 1/2 of a replacement. We got the door we wanted and a new opener installed in less than a week. Jonathon and Tyler were great. My floor isn’t level but they used a bigger seal to close the gap. Super polite, professional company. Every time someone came to the house they called before they left and offered to pick up s coffee or other drink for me. A thoughtful gesture from a company that gives you personal attention. Precision Overhead Garage is the BEST! I have been doing research to which company is the best before I decided to call POG. Our garage doors were really bad for years. Only one was working and it was not even in good shape that every time we open and close made me worried. Thinking that it might drop to the floor. Their staff are very professional and very attentive of your concerns. We had Luke and Jonathan. Both are very nice gentlemen. I am very satisfied of Jonathan's job today. I am happy that I had POG worked on my garage doors. I am Highly Recommended to people to have POG to work on your garage doors. They are the BEST!

While the tech seemed to be knowledgeable he was a salesman. I requested a repairman and was dissatisfied with his approach. When he quoted me three options the least at $560 I knew I was in trouble. I can buy a while NEW system at Lowe's for $179. He even pulled the circuit board from the motor, and without testing any diodes explained this may be part of the problem. I am familiar with these boards and know they can die but I assure this was not the case. It was evident my door problem was in the trolley. The years are stripped and grind when you go to open the door. I will not use your services in the future.

Service was scheduled extremely quickly for a totally non-functional garage door. One spring had come loose from a fractured support while the other spring had a major strain starting to form in it. The actual reason for the call was due to a faulty ball-bearing roller that had come loose in its support and was not allowing the garage door to function at all. Robert was AMAZING! For a small amount more than fixing the existing system he installed a brand-new torsion (single-spring) system in no time. The garage door has never functioned so flawlessly or quietly in all the time we've lived here. You can tell a noticeable difference in the ease the opener has lifting a fully insulated steel door; Robert also demonstrated the benefit of the new torsion system was releasing the door from the opener and lifting it with ONE finger! I would highly recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service any day! Robert was excellent from start to finish. He explained the repairs absolutely necessary to make the garage door operable and safe while not being pushy about the (practically minimal) upsell to the torsion system.

Brad was our technician. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and helpful to us regarding our defective Lift Master garage door opener. We have no qualms about his ability to do what was needed for the repair/replacement of our unit. However, unfortunately, the price he quoted to us to replace the single car garage door opener was outrageously expensive. We contacted another vendor, who gave us a price that was half what Precision quoted for us. Very disappointing. That explains the low rating we gave above for Precision.
