When I called Precision Door Service this morning, the person who answered the phone was very courteous. She promised that someone would arrive between two and four today. Before two I received a call stating that someone would arrive early- around 1:45. When David Allen arrived at that time, I explained our problem with the garage door. He took time to examine it and showed me the areas that needed repair. After my husband and I talked, we chose the repair option that suited our needs. At that point, David began the repair work which he addressed quietly and efficiently. Once the work was complete, he contacted me and showed me the improved parts that will make our garage door work so much better! Truly, the door is amazing now! It opens and closes very quietly. The new motor has an improved design and beauty that lights up our dark garage very effectively. In short, I am very pleased with the work David did and especially impressed by his respectful and professional manner. I am grateful that Precision Door Service makes a very fine product and that their certified technician, David Allen, made this experience worth much sincere praise! Thank you very much!! My only concern was the extreme difference between opener prices that could be purchased at a local big box store and the completed price through Precision - $1,200 difference. If I would have realized that, I probably would have installed a top-of-the-line new one myself. However, I do appreciate the professional installation and the warranty promise through David’s work.

BE AWARE! When you call to have one of their reps come to inspect your garage door they do in-fact state that there will be a “service fee” that will be waved if repairs are done day of visit, the mistake I made was that I didn’t ask how much that “service fee” would be. The 2 reps spent no more than 10 min assessing my garage door before giving me a much higher quote than I had expected so naturally I wanted to shop around and compare quotes, problem is they told me that the “service fee” was $175.00! for 10 min of their time. Do yourself a favor and call someone that will allow you to shop around quotes before dealing with Precision, I ended up finding someone to fix my door for $300.00 vs their $1,500.00.

I needed someone to recalibrate my opener that you installed. You sent a salesman. I knew 2 minutes into the conversation he was there to cost me a lot of money not to fix my opener. By the time he left (and I shut the door on him) I was livid, and still am 2 days later. I wish you would send him back out here so I can show him how it was fixed for a third of what he wanted to charge by someone who had never dealt with that brand of opener before. The 2 prior dealings with you were good. But this time was awful.

my service david performed a check of doorsi was concered of one making loud noise when opeing and closing he gave me options and i went with one that was safe and was in my budet turning 80 and wish i could fix every thing that had needed repair i will use your company in the futer at which time regust david to do my work even if i need to wait for my repairs new spring looks great
