Service was scheduled extremely quickly for a totally non-functional garage door. One spring had come loose from a fractured support while the other spring had a major strain starting to form in it. The actual reason for the call was due to a faulty ball-bearing roller that had come loose in its support and was not allowing the garage door to function at all. Robert was AMAZING! For a small amount more than fixing the existing system he installed a brand-new torsion (single-spring) system in no time. The garage door has never functioned so flawlessly or quietly in all the time we've lived here. You can tell a noticeable difference in the ease the opener has lifting a fully insulated steel door; Robert also demonstrated the benefit of the new torsion system was releasing the door from the opener and lifting it with ONE finger! I would highly recommend Precision Overhead Garage Door Service any day! Robert was excellent from start to finish. He explained the repairs absolutely necessary to make the garage door operable and safe while not being pushy about the (practically minimal) upsell to the torsion system.

Brad was our technician. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and helpful to us regarding our defective Lift Master garage door opener. We have no qualms about his ability to do what was needed for the repair/replacement of our unit. However, unfortunately, the price he quoted to us to replace the single car garage door opener was outrageously expensive. We contacted another vendor, who gave us a price that was half what Precision quoted for us. Very disappointing. That explains the low rating we gave above for Precision.

My old garage door opener stopped working and was making a humming noise. I knew the opener was at least two decades old and was probably burnt up. The technician was very professional and showed me the problem with the old unit and gave me several option for new units. I bought a new chain drive unit and he installed the unit very quickly. I was also given a discount for being a military veteran. I was very satisfied with the technician's job and the new unit!

Technician David Allen was on time in the arrival window and gave me a 30-minute heads-up call as well. He thoroughly explained to me the problem areas of both doors and offered different solution options to get both working in top condition. I ask a lot of questions, and he was very patient with me. Once I approved the work he competently and efficiently fixed it all. He even helped talk me through some carburator repair on my lawn mower! What a guy! Thanks again!

One thing I really liked was that Brad didnt try to sell me anything - most companies send a sales rep to try and get the customer to spend more money. The first service person I think was confused. He walked around a lot with IPAD in hand and seemed to be talking to someone with ear piece and a hidden mike. After an hour of pacing he put in a new spring above the front of the garage door. A nice young fellow but appeared lost with the mechanical issues. Johnathan, who came the next day, knew what he had to do and got right to work. He replaced and installed the new parts of the operator and its parts immediately. This took some time and he gave it a great effort. I was impressed with his workmanship. He is a wonderful worker.

That said, the technician, my man; Brad Riley was absolutely superb. Upon arrival, he talked with my wife first as I was out briefly picking up food. When I came back Brad was in the garage. Dumped my food, checked with my wife and wife said she really liked him. Stepped into garage and talked to Brad. I am typically not one to write reviews which means the service I received was excellent. Robert Bongiorno came out to repair my garage and ultimately had to replace my opener. I love the fact that the technicians call ahead when on there way, they send messages with photos so you know who you’re letting have access to your home. Mr Bongiorno was very thorough in explaining what was wrong and what needed to be done which I greatly appreciated. Great garage door company!!

SO HAPPY with the service!!!… We bought our home last Fall and we have original garage doors (2004). The VERY loud, rattling, noise when opening/closing the doors were making me crazy. David Allen (installer) called to let me know he was on his way (even offering to pick something up if I needed it, while he was getting gas in his truck – how thoughtful is that?! ????). He also sent a text message so I was able to track his travel time to our home. He arrived right on time this morning. David explained our options. We decided to have him rebuild both garage door systems; new motors, new moving parts, etc. We also had him install a new keypad on the outside of the garage door for keyless entry. David helped me set up the myQ wireless system which is an awesome app allowing you to open and close the doors by using your iphone! One thing that was very unusual (in a great way) about David was how he boasted proudly about the company; “we work very hard to give great customer satisfaction, we have the best products, we have great training, and we always want to do the best job for our customers.” He pointed to his uniform and said, “all of this costs money; our uniforms, these nice trucks, and we take care of everything and take pride in doing so.” ???? The owner should feel very proud to have an employee speaking so highly of the company and about all the reasons why the customer would want to use this company. David did a stellar job and we’re absolutely thrilled with our very QUIET door systems!!! We highly recommend this company!

I live in a condo and have 2 garages with 15 year old garage door lifts that were on the way out. I called at 9 a.m. and David Allen was here by 1. He kept in touch with me and let me know exactly when he would be here. I had decided before he got here that instead of trying to fix them, I would just have both replaced. He explained everything to me and the price for all. I’m sure it was way more work than he was expecting to do and it took him all afternoon. He did a great job and I’m glad I decided to go new.
