The service was significantly overpriced. I requested a simple seal replacement along the bottom of my garage door; however, the technician insisted that additional repairs were required before the work could be completed. The estimate provided was approximately $1,500, which seemed excessive for the scope of work requested. Additionally, I was charged $150 for the estimate, whereas most other garage door companies provide estimates at no cost. I recommend obtaining multiple quotes and comparing pricing before making a decision.

I was very pleased with Justin's professional. He contacted me prior to his visit. He indicated that he had to make a stop prior to his visit and offered to bring me something. He was very thoughtful. Upon his arrival he asked me what were my trouble areas with the garage door. Then he indicated what he would make his assessment and get back to me. His thorough and precise explanation was easy to understand and various options were provided. Called 3 door companies, one had an AI interface and took a while to call me back. The other handled my call right away but needed me to determine if I needed a repair or a new door. How am I supposed to know that? He said, well if you need a new door that will be about 3 weeks. Way too long. Finally, I called Precision Overhead Garage Door and I interreacted with a human and they scheduled an appointment for 90 minutes later. We had Precision Garage Door Service come out in February 2025 and install a new system in a house we had just purchased. On October 1, 2025 our garage door suddenly stopped opening and closing, so we called Precision Garage Door. The tech, Justin, promptly arrived about two hours after I made the call for help.
