I give this rating as customer service was not up to standard in my opinion, tech Justin was a great guy, professional, did a great job on the install, went over everything, after he completed the job, and had left ended up with an issue, called the company and customer service was supposed to get in touch with someone to see if someone could come back and address the issue and was supposed to call me back to advise, which they did schedule for someone to come the next day, well never received a call back after waiting almost 40 minutes! So ended up calling them and they did get in touch with Justin and he came back and took care of the issue, so great service from Justin but not customer service. And first time I have used this company so will have to think on it next time.

Kevin O'Hara was here 1/2 hour before the 2 hour window . . . glad he was, as my wife's beamer had a dead battery and we had to figure out where in the heck to hook the jumper cables . . . so that's definitely going above the call of duty . . . thanks Kevin. I had no past experience with Precision but see their trucks all over town so I called them. My door would not open due to worn out and undersized springs and they responded within 3 hours of my call. Jimmy was my technician and he was the best being very thorough, polite and knowledgeable about his product. He explained the problem, changed the springs and the opener now works perfect. I will no doubt use them again and highly recommend Precision to others needing anything garage door related.

I was having a problem with my garage door opener not closing. The technician, Kevin, diagnosed the problem and also did a thorough check on both doors. Due to the age of the openers, we decided to replace the torsion springs as well as the wheels, which were showing definite deterioration. All work was completed in a short time and all is working well. As a bonus, the doors are operating noticeably quieter.

I had Precision replace my openers two years ago and they did a great install. They have been trouble free since. Yesterday one of my garage doors would not go up and the keypad gave an error code. I called Precision and they scheduled Kevin to come out two hours later. Kevin came out, inspected the doors and hardware and diagnosed a broken spring. He did an estimate for the required work, and presented me with several options. I elected to replace all the relevant hardware and as a precaution did it for the functional door as well. He accomplished everything in about 90 minutes; his experience really showed. Kevin is a great technician, and Precision is the only company in the area I’d even consider to work on my garage doors; highly recommended!

I was ripped off and given bad information from the technician! I called several other garage door repair centers, after having Precision do the work. I could have saved myself $500. I was told by the technician that it is per building code that my garage door have two springs. This is not the case. He lied to me. The technician took it upon himself to remove the circuit board from my garage door for no apparent reason. Before he removed the board I told him the only problem I ever had with the door was the current broken spring. He also concocted other issues from non-issues. It was clearly a case of trying to up sell me so he could make more money on his commission. Other companies I contacted provide estimates either free or over the phone. Precision never told me that I would be responsible for a $150 service charge if I didn't do any service that day. I felt trapped, as the door only had one spring, that was broken, and I couldn't get either of my cars out of the garage to make an appointment. I will be reaching out to the BBB to file a complaint and Precision door only looking to overcharge consumers.

Precision Garage Door Service was able to accommodate my request within 24 hours. They sent me a little bio with a picture of my technician prior to the service. Jimmy Schmidt was my technician and after a careful review of my situation, provided repair options with prices. He was very easy to work with and completed everything within an hour. He reviewed everything with me to make sure I understood. Excellent company to work with!

Jeff was great at explaining what he was going to check, the reason all the services were needed, future care/maintenance of the equipment, and the bill. He said to call him if we had any questions when he was done. He did a superior job in general, and I'd definitely use Precision again.
