I had noticed my garage door was a lot noisier than it should have been. I researched a couple companies and Precision was the one that looked like it was one of the best according to other peoples reviews. Called on a Friday and they could fit me in that following Monday. David Eilers and David (forgot his last name, sorry) were my technicians. Before they started, they explained all they were going to do and the options that were available to me as far as repairs. VERY PROFESSIONAL from the beginning to the end. No pressure to upsell any services, we went with the repairs that were best for us. Would highly recommend this company to anyone who asked. Added bonus, he is a UC Bearcat fan.

Best Customer Service EVER! My service time was a two-hour window. Most don't call even when they are over the time limit...but Jonathan Guffey called and let me know he was still on the previous call and kept me informed as to when he could be expected. He and Ben explained everything along the way and were very precise about what needed to be done. I would recommend Precision to all I know with garage door problems. Thank you!

My technician was Christopher Woods. My garage door was stuck and I could not close it even manually. Chris got it working and gave me several options of what will improve the door going forward. The tech John came out for what I thought would be a simple repair. My door and parts are about 3 years old. Instead, he presented me with 3 options ranging in cost from $1,050 to $3,600 (for replacing all parts). THIS IS A THREE YEAR OLD DOOR/PARTS. I paid a $145 service fee so that he could come out and try to extort me for thousands.

I contacted this company to repair one of my openers. The technician was not able to reset my limit switch, but offered to sell me a new opener. That cost me $150.00 for that visit that resolved nothing. Afterwards I contacted PDQ to make necessary repairs. The PDQ technician showed up and approximately 15 minutes later the opener was functioning properly and he lubricated the rollers, hinges and spring, which this company did not do during the inspection of a door that was only 9 years old. He then showed me how to reset the limit switch for future reference if any 3 of the door openers malfunctioned. The opener did not need replaced but simply the electronic limit needed to be reset, which is a simple procedure handled through the back panel of the opener. Lesson learned? If the company didn't sell the opener don't expect them to service it, but want to replace it with their opener brand costing the customer exceedingly more than necessary.

We called Precision when our garage door jammed and wouldn't open. David and David inspected the door and determined that the track was installed too low and the top of the garage door was rubbing against the track and getting stuck. They raised the track so the door no longer binds and also replaced the worn rollers and cables. I was impressed by how quickly they diagnosed the problem and were able to correct it. Both were very professional and explained the problem and options for keeping our door safe and efficient very clearly.

The operation of our 16x7 garage door had recently been very erratic, so my wife looked at online reviews and we decided to go with Precision Garage Door Service. The service van showed up on time, and the technician, David Eilers introduced himself and proceeded to ask questions and checked the various components which quickly narrowed down the problems. David had the necessary parts in his van and so he commenced to getting the job done. A short time later, he had completed the necessary fixes, explained what he had done, and demonstrated the operation of the garage door, which now worked perfectly (and quietly!). I tried to call another company to come repair a broken spring. They were not able to make it out for 5 days. I remembered seeing a commercial for Precision and figured I would give them a call. They were able to come out the following morning. I was given an estimated time of arrival between 10 and 12. The technician Christopher called me at 9:00 to tell me he was finishing up his first job and would be heading my way. At 9:30 he called to say he was on his way after stopping for fuel. Christopher even offered to pick a coffee up for me. Upon arrival he took time to discuss not only the issue with the broken spring but overall function of the door, opener and second garage door as well. After our discussion I decided to address a few other maintenance items. The work was completed beyond my expectations. Christopher’s knowledge, attention to detail and customer service focused approach was second to none. It really was refreshing to have such a positive customer service experience. I would recommend Precision to anyone looking for garage door service.

We found Precision through a quick google search and Facebook recommendations and were blown away by their quick response and ability to stop by same day. Our tech did a full inspection of our garage doors, noted concerns and presented a number of recommendations to ensure we would operate effectively and safely after repairs. We loved how their approach was risk based and they never tried to sell us something we didn't need. The tech explained why certain things should be repaired or replaced for safety and presented 3 different options for us to choose from. All repairs and installation were completed right then and there and our problems completely resolved with one house call! Christopher was very professional and friendly. He did a gray job of explaining to me his process and explaining the options available. The job took longer than expected due to the age of my house. However he also took the time to help me program the MyQ app and program the keypad. I was very pleased with the service provided.
